The Role

You work directly with customers: assessing their compliance and security posture, building their compliance program, implementing the right controls in the platform, and helping them prepare for audit. You own the relationship end-to-end.

The role requires autonomy, technical judgment and the ability to translate real infrastructure into actionable compliance and security controls.

What You’ll Do

• Assess: Run discovery, map infrastructure and data flows against target frameworks, identify gaps, and build a realistic roadmap to compliance.
• Build: Design and implement compliance programs: policies, controls, risk registers, vendor assessments and evidence workflows tailored to each organization.
• Ship through audit: Prepare evidence, coordinate audit-readiness work and drive findings to closure.
• Stay close: Be a reliable technical point of contact. Respond quickly and flag risks before they become larger problems.
• Automate: Use AI tooling, integrations and workflow automation to eliminate repetitive work.
• Shape the product: Turn recurring customer problems into better platform workflows, documentation and product requirements.

What We’re Looking For

Required

• 3+ years of experience in a technology environment.
• Technical background in engineering, security, architecture or technical support. You can inspect a cloud environment and translate it into actionable controls.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major compliance framework such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR or HIPAA.
• Strong automation mindset and practical use of AI or scripting to reduce manual work.
• Organized approach to managing several workstreams without losing ownership.
• Good judgment about when to investigate independently and when to escalate or ask for specialist input.
• Clear communication with CTOs, engineers, operational teams and auditors.

Nice to Have

• Experience in information security, compliance or GRC in a hands-on role.
• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP or Azure and SaaS security tooling such as MDM, SIEM and SSO/IdP.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or CCSP.
• Early-stage technology company experience.
